Donations
I would like to address the donation portion of the site, even though they are NOT required for you to post on the site.
Currently, it is for charities. These will be registered non-profit organizations that I personally believe in. Before the site was even up and running, as you see it, I contacted someone I know of, at Arts Fighting Cancer, for permission to promote The Cancer Relief Fund which is housed within the Dallas Foundation. As CR8V-KID’s first partnership with a third-party charity- I hope to further my discussions with them, this summer so that this page can promote this meaningful organization with the quality, respect, and graphics that it deserves. I have lost many people in my short life to this terrible disease. Most of those people closest to me have not had to worry about how they were going to continue to pay their bills and finance their lives, while fighting this disease. I know that is a rarity.
From the websites listed above, Arts Fighting Cancer is a non-profit organization that promotes the arts while raising funds to help improve the quality of life for individuals fighting cancer. Established in 2001, the Cancer Relief Fund provides direct financial relief to cancer patients in order to improve their quality of life. Recipients of fund grants are able to use the grant to pay for medical treatment, home health care, housing and other needs.
Please feel comfortable and know that CR8V-KID has no way of tracking your donations to the above, third-party charities. We are simply promoting what we feel is an important cause.
